Sourcing

outsource - v. 1. To send out (work, for example) to an outside provider or manufacturer in order to cut costs. Outsourcing - adj. (American Heritage Dictionary)

According to the US Department of Commerce, over 50,000 US companies are currently in China; however, "Made In China" is becoming more associated with poor quality and inferior products. By getting it done RIGHT, "Made In China" products can be equally high quality and superior products associated with "Made In The USA" products.

We are ABCs (American Born Chinese) and have lived and grown up in both cultures. Therefore, we intimately understand both cultures unlike Chinese born overseas and Americans born in the US who typically understand only one side well. We've been through business school and have been a part of various startups; therefore, we know that a 20-page business plan and theories learned in school can be impractical and useless. Through our China sourcing services, we establish factory-direct relationships for you to allow you to get superior quality products at the manufacturer's prices. 60% of US product recalls are from products produced in China. Don't be one of them!

No matter whether the project is printing, production, or manufacturing, we have the resources and the experience to ensure you have the peace of mind that you will "cut costs" and do it with high "quality" products.

Why Outsource?

Why outsource? The short answer: "Because everyone is doing it!"

Not satisfied with that answer? Well...

60% of all product recalls in the United States are products that come from China. Getting it done right cannot be more true when sourcing products. Our outsourcing services will help you:

Reduce Costs:

What company does not want to reduce costs? Instead of purchasing machinery or equipment to do it yourself, outsourcing is a healthy alternative to all that spending. Many companies may not have the expertise in a particular business process and instead of spending the time (which equals money) to learn the process, outsourcing these processes to companies with the expertise will allow you to spend more time on what you and your employees do best.

When producing products in China, we don't accept finders fees or commissions from factories or others. You pay us a 10% commission to find and audit qualified factories and conduct all quality assurance tasks. We will arrange shipping and logistics at no-costs and pass the costs and savings directly to you. You will be confident in working with a US company with complete understanding of US and Chinese language ability and business practices.

Focus on Your Core Competence:

In this global economy we current live in, focusing on your core competence to reach a competitive advantage is vital. Increasing revenue while reducing costs is the key--instead of adding to overhead costs. By outsourcing businesses processes outside of your core competencies, you can ensure you are not adding to the cost of doing business.

How to Find the Right Outsourcing Partner?

At first glance, it seems as if all outsourcing companies are the same with different prices. If that is how you thought after meeting with different outsourcing companies, then they did not do their job of helping you find the WIIFM (What's In It For Me aka the Benefit) in using their services.

A good outsourcing partner will do two things for you: 1) they will not only provide a price quote, but ask you probing questions on how the product can be improved upon. They will then provide you a quote for producing the exact same item you currently have and another quote for the product of your dreams. This partner will try to help you reduce costs and recommend improvements to help increase the value of your products. 2) This outsourcing partner is going to try to develop a positive and constructive relationship with you. Do they focus more on the features they have or on the benefits you get from working with them? Functions are great, but if you do not benefit from them, what use do they serve? Does your partner honor all commitments and deadlines, even after contracts have been signed? Communication and operations must be transparent between you and the outsourcing partner with no cover-ups or "white lies."

Instead of just searching by price alone, take a little more time to find out the nitty-gritty details about your partner before making any decisions. Know that outsourcing companies are not all the same!
